This OD Green Topo was a great addition to my collection. I currently use it daily now but soon it will be put into rotation but it is very comfortable, it’s a good writer and I added the Titanium Damascus Bolt. The only thing is I wish I grabbed the water/blue topo at the same time! Keep up the great work!

This is a beautiful pen with a great design. The barrel is perfect, but black parts of the bolt and end cap are chipping off after one use.

I contacted customer service and they first said the End Caps and the Bolts were not covered under the lifetime warranty and that wear and tear will happen over time with usage. I understand but not after one or two uses and careful handling.

I reminded them that their warranty states:

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our manufacturing and will take care of every customer that has an issue. A good tool should be used daily and passed on to future generations to enjoy. Now, that doesn’t mean that you can purposefully destroy one of our pens and demand a new one but, if something unexpected goes wrong, we need to know.

If there's ever a problem with your purchase, get in touch and we'll make it right.”

They said OK, we’ll make an exception and you can return the pen. I then asked if they could replace just the detective parts (the clip has the same finish and it is fine) they said “sure” and sent me a link to purchase stock replacement parts that don’t match the pen (grooved end cap when the pen is flat)

Not what I was expecting for $179 pen and well short of their promise to make it right.
